Annular gap vents

This type of vent discharges the air exclusively via an annular gap on the outer surface of the steel head plate which is riveted to a special brass profile foot. Its design provides plenty of space for rapid air removal. The extremely stable design of the head plate ensures destruction of the headstock is impossible. In field trials in extreme series, it has been shown that the annular gap vents are the most economical deaeration solution. It combines the stability of the head plate and the little need for cleaning even for high frequency shots.
